1About this policy

This policy applies to every car you buy from Baba Luxury Car (“Baba Luxury Cars”, “we”, “us”), B-2, Emaya Mall, Paschim Vihar, New Delhi 110063. It sits alongside our Terms and conditions.

2We handle the transfer

We transfer the car’s registration certificate (RC) into your name ourselves, through the RTO, under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (Forms 29 and 30). We also handle the rest of the car’s papers for the handover.

3What we need from you

Usually:

• proof of your identity and address, such as your Aadhaar card, passport or voter ID;
• your PAN card;
• passport-size photographs;
• your signature on the transfer forms.

We tell you exactly what your car’s transfer needs.

4Charges

The transfer can carry charges on top of the price of the car, such as the RTO’s fees. We tell you what they are before you buy.

5Registering in another state

If the car is to be registered in another state, it needs a no-objection certificate (NOC) from the RTO where it is registered now, and re-registration, with that state’s road tax, where you live. This costs more than a transfer within Delhi; we tell you what it involves and costs before you buy.

6Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
